w/ Jee Moon
September 23-25, 2022
Lay Center for Education and the Arts
Louisiana, MO
If you struggle with beginning or maintaining a consistent meditation practice or want to deepen your yoga practice, this silent weekend retreat will help you push the reset button and take your practice to the next level, from wherever you may be starting. Held on the simple and serene grounds of the Lay Center, just 90 miles from St. Louis, you'll have the opportunity to connect with nature and reconnect with yourself.
Jee will lead more active (vinyasa/ yang) and still, quiet (yin) yoga practices that will ease your mind and body into a state ready for meditation. She will offer techniques and guidance in developing mindful meditation practices - including silent, walking, and movement meditation - and will discuss the purpose and benefits of mindfulness and meditation. Take time away to experience yoga and mindfulness as a way of life.
Participants are asked to maintain silence from Friday night until midday on Sunday.
Cost includes accommodations (including linens), all practice and lecture sessions, all meals, and access to the sculpture park, pond, and historic cemetery on the grounds of the Lay Center.
Meals are vegetarian and gluten free, provided by Lona's Lil' Eats and Bombay Food Junkies. Vegan diets can be accommodated as well.
