Introducing UB’s re-designed 200-hour Vinyasa-Yin Yoga Teacher Training, beginning January 2021! This in-depth program, which focuses on the complementary styles of Vinyasa and Yin yoga, is for yoga students who want to deepen their personal practice, discover the realms of yoga beyond physical aspects, and develop the skills and confidence to lead others.
This program has been thoughtfully planned to include both self-paced online learning components and live sessions that will be held in-person or via a virtual meeting platform, depending on community safety recommendations at the time.
Graduates leave this program with a deeper understanding of Vinyasa and Yin yoga, and an ability to teach both styles of yoga, on their own or weaved together. You'll study physical anatomy, as well as anatomy of the subtle body (energy) for an understanding of how to sequence active flows and held postures that target the deeper layers of the body, and you’ll learn to effectively and creatively sequence beginning through advanced practices and to teach in a trauma-sensitive way. You’ll also explore yoga history, philosophy, and yoga as service. You’ll develop your own personal style of safe and effective teaching, through personal attention and support from experienced and compassionate lead teachers. You will be challenged — physically, mentally, and spiritually — in a collaborative and fun learning environment and will walk away with a deeper understanding of yourself and the inspiration and skills to meaningfully integrate yoga into your life and your work.
