This ELDOA Level 1 is designed for practitioners, yoga instructors, physical therapists, personal trainers, or anyone with a deep interest in the tensegrity biomechanics of the spine and relational anatomy. This course is held over two days, giving the student practitioner the foundational working principles of the  ELDOA method and it is the base for all other levels in the ELDOA program.

With the help of the course instructor participants will work in small groups to work out the exercise progressions for each spinal segment and coach each other on how to correctly apply each ELDOA. This way everyone learns how to understand the sensation of fascial tension, to both do and coach the ELDOA.

Each ELDOA posture targets a specific joint or segmental spinal unit. The fundamental ELDOA postures of ELDOA 1 are L5S1,  T8T9, T6T7, C4C5, The General ELDOA, The Kid ELDOA  and the TV ELDOA.

The goal of ELDOA Level 1 is for the student to leave with the anatomical and mechanical principles of the  ELDOA while getting plenty of practical experience. By the time you walk out of the last day of the course, you will not only feel better and have an improved posture, but you’ll have a more accurate awareness of tensegrity biomechanics that will inform every way that you move, from your yoga practice to your golf game.
